Who We Are

The Education Coalition is a unified alliance of California’s nine leading statewide education organizations. Together, we represent more than 1.4 million educators, administrators, school employees, parents, and students who share a single mission: ensuring California’s public schools receive the stable, constitutional funding they need to serve every student.

While our member organizations serve different constituencies and don’t always agree on every policy, we are united in our commitment to protecting Proposition 98 — the voter-approved constitutional guarantee that sets a minimum funding floor for California’s TK–14 public schools and community colleges.
